Approach to the Inmost Cave is when the hero is getting ready for the ordeal, the battle. The Approach is necessary to reorganize and prepare. May heighten the stakes if hero doesn't complete task.
In Finding Nemo, the Approach to the Inmost Cave is when Nigel, pelican, informs Marlin and Dory that he knows where Nemo is. Marlin prepares himself to finally meet his son again.
