The Refusal of the Call
The Refusal of the Call is where the hero doesn't want to accept the challange. Usually the hero is too comfortable in the Ordinary World to go off on the challenge. Also the hero overthinks what may happen and all the dangers or risks that may occur.
In Finding Nemo the Refusal of the Call is when Marlin doesn't want to go after Nemo because he's scared of the open sea. Marlin has never left he reef and doesn't want to leave because it's his safe zone. He is worried that he may run into any sharks, fishers, or other dangers.
