Mentor
A mentor is a positive figure who aids or trains the hero. A mentor usually teaches the hero, gives gifts to the hero, invents things for the hero, the hero's conscience, and motivates the hero. There are different types of mentors, dark mentors, fallen mentors, mutliple mentors, and continuing mentors.
Crush
Crush is a mentor in Findning Nemo because he teachers Marlin and motivates him. In the movie when Marlin is panicking about finding his son, Crush calms him down and tells him to let loose on the strict parenting. Also Crush leads Marlin in the path he has to take so that he can find Nemo.
Dory
Dory is a mentor in Finding Nemo because she aids and motivates Marlin. Throughout the movie Dory helps Marlin on his adventure to find his son, like being able to read the address to the location Nemo was at. Also she motivates him to "just keep swimming" when Marlin begins to give up.
