TYPES OF aRCHETYPES:
An archetype is a typical character that perfroms actions that seems to represent such universal patterns of human nature.Carl G. Jung, Swiss psychologist, employed the term archetype, meaning anicent patterns of personality that are the shared heritage of the human race. The concept of archetypes is an indispensable tool for understanding the purpose or function of characters in a story. Joseph Campbell spoke of the archetypes as biological, as expressions of the organs of the body, built into the writing of every human being.
