Meeting the Mentor
Meeting the Mentor is when the hero is given advice from the mentor that encourages him to go on the challenge. The mentor gives the hero confidence to accept the challenge and get over their fears. The hero seeks wisdom from the mentor about the Speical World to guide them for their adventure.
Meeting the Mentor in Finding Nemo is when Marlin literally runs into Dory. Dory encourages Marlin to find Nemo when she tells him she saw the boat he was looking for. Dory helps Marlin get over his fears as she leads him deeper into the sea.
